As close to a New York deli as you'll find in the Rockies. Lots
of New York-style Jewish cuisine with lots and lots of variations
of the humble potato.
Crowded for breakfast, lunch and in between, for good reason.

Zaidys is simply the best and only truly authentic New York style
deli in the Denver Metro area. The sandwiches come in both a smaller
Denver (Cherry Creek) size and an overflowing hearty New York
City style. A bonus is the very friendly staff. From Bus and wait
staff to the owners (who are always on hand supervising every
aspect of the operation)
My favorites;
Lox and Latkes
Turkey Pastrami Reuben
Chopped Cobb Salad
and of course
Chicken Soup with Matzo Balls

Yum yum! Zaidy's has been around for a while, but I hadn't been
there until we went on a quest for latkes for Hanukkah. And not
only did they have terrific latkes, but they base a lot of dishes
around them. The latkes are served with a special, chunky strawberry-pineapple
applesauce that's good enough to eat by itself. Zaidy's also
has other tasty menu items that I'm dying to try. The main complaint
I have is parking--the parking lot is so small that you often have
to park on a side street. But that's not their fault.

My cravings for Matzo Ball soup took me to Zaidy's, and what I
found there was a fine Matzo Ball soup, but that was only the
beginning. My new obsession is for 'Loxs and Latkes', a
reasonably priced fabulous entre' which contain the freshest loxs
I've ever had, sandwiched between two potatoe latkes with cream
cheese, capers, purple onions, and juicy red tomatoes. Works for
breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is truely one of the finest
things I've ever tasted. The bagels are very fresh and toasted to
perfection. Blintzes are yummy as well as the desserts. Zaidy's
also offers complementary pickles, sauerkraut and pletzle for
starters. All very fresh and tasty. Enjoy!
