Although it takes a LONG time to get your food, it is well worth the wait.
The food is AMAZING! There is a spongy, spicy appetizer bread that will
make your eyes water and your mouth drool from satisfaction. My favorite
dish there is a meal for two in which you get to sample many different
foods which you eat with another, although non-spicy spongy type of
bread. My son and I always go to this restaurant every Christmas Eve
and for our birthdays, except during the period in which the current
owner had previously sold the restaurant to someone else (we've
been going here for years and we're so glad she is the owner again!).
The owner of the restaurant does the cooking and she always has a huge,
genuine smile on her face, especially for her many regulars. My son
and I love lamb and even though it does not come on the "sampler"
dish we always want, the owner always adds lamb to our dish without acting
as though she is put out by it. Love the owner, love the food, wish the
wait weren't so long, but it's well worth it!
