Great Place. I feel lucky we chose this place for our place to eat
and drink during a surprise thunderstorm. The time passed easily.
Nice atmosphere, good bar, real good foor (we ate lunch). The
prices were reasonable, and it IS in the heart of old Annapolis.
Nice place.

Good bar in a great location. The prices were are good. You can
get more of a sit down if you want upstairs.

Definately a bar atmosphere, but sit upstairs to avoid this.
The location could not be better just a few steps from the annapolis
city dock and in the middle of everything. Wait staff are very
friendly. Food is great. Highly recommended: Crab dip (very
possibly the best in annapolis), and Chicken Diablo (penne noodles
with chicken in a teriyaki cream sauce with garnish of tomato
and fresh parmesean). Flourless chocolate cake is sinfully
delicious! Have it warmed to melt the center into a gooey chocolate
dream

Located on the Park Place of downtown Annapolis, Riordan's keeps
the locals happy with a simple equation of good food in a cozy atmosphere.
The subdued lighting is a bit much for the feel of the restaurant,
which like many of the dock area restaurants, relies on the evening
crowd, which goes for munchies or sandwiches and beer or cocktails.
However, dining with my parents on a recent August evening, my
dad and I enjoyed "imported Danish" baby back ribs; meaty and
flavorful with a sweety and tangy sauce that didn't overwelm.
I recommend the excellently seasoned steak fries as one "vegetable"
choice. My mother opted for a penne pasta dish that was generous
with bay scallops.
Like Buddy's or Middleton's, the fare is nothing too special,
but then again, perhaps it doesn't need to be.
