Food was OK, not memorable. Service was on the slow side - Authentic
Greek service, I suppose. Prices seemed on the high side, but
then again this cluster of restaurants (Nakamoto, Mario's Chiquita,
and the German Place)in this strip mall caters to the Plano Yuppie
crowd: the parking lots looks like a Lexus/Mercedes dealership.
Seriously, if you like Greek food, I recommend the place in West
Plano - or the one in Dallas, down near Park and 75, better.

Many subsequent visits to Greek Isles has cause me to down
grade this one to 2 stars. At lunch time we have had bad greek
salads about 8 weeks in a row - limp, brown lettuce and lots
of oil. It is obvious that the salad ingredients are not being
properly refrigerated. Other issue on last visit - Dolmas
not cooked in the middle. Ugh! Plano health department also has
rated this restaurant a "C", which is not very good at all.
The great part is still the olives and hot bread and good
service most of the time. Best entree: blackened or broiled
red fish. (actually Tilapia). The lack of consistency also shows
up here. One plate will be swimming in butter and another not.

I eat here at least once per week for lunch. The food and service
are
very good. Pleasant atmosphere. Blackened or Broiled red fish
is always
fresh and well prepared. For a real treat try the Baklava ice cream.

In 10 or so visits to Greek Isles - ALWAYS a pleasant
experience. The lunch menu has excellent values. Try the Dolmas!!
Warm, friendly atmosphere and staff, but sometimes the service is slow.
