Very rarely in Texas can you find a restaurant that lets you sit outside
to enjoy the lovely sunshine. The patio at Birroporettis is viewed
by some as an afterthought, but if you are visiting them for their fabulous
sunday brunch, the patio is perfect to get away from the mob it attracts.
Birroporetti's food is always consistantly good (if sometimes
a bit bland). Their portions are way too big, as happens at lots of italian
places. But, we find their best food is displayed during their sunday
brunches, which are served buffet style on 5 tables and offer you pasta,
eggs benedict, chicken, fresh fruit, a positive cornucopia of breads
and pastries, as well as omelets made on the spot and OMG-waffles (oh,
my goddess, they are good)..right out of the waffle iron and onto your
plate and decorated with fresh strawberries or whatever you wish.
Sunday brunch also has live music (as opposed to dead), and excellent
mimosas.

If you're looking for a quiet, romantic spot to take a date,
this is it. A bit on the expensive side but the food is very good,
have always had excellant service. Love the candlelight!

This is a delightful little restaurant that is easy to find and
not overcrowded (heaven on knows why). The service is always
great and the good much better than average!

Birraporetti's has a great selection of versatile dishes. I
try a different meal every time I visit. We are always seated promptly,
the service is always attentive but not abnoxious, and the the
quality of the food is great. It is easy to find, located on the
south side of Lincoln Square.
