I have been a regular for 14 years and have never had a bad steak. In fact
I love the steak sauce, kinda of tangy but definitely tasty. I'm
not sure who you spoke with considering all the managers at Mac's
are male. They have always been attentive and usually check on our meal
whether we have a large group or it's just the 3 of us. We love this
place and the staff!!

We've eaten there several times in the past, but the last time I
got a steak that tasted rank. Manager claimed that it was the just the
sauce and that some people don't like the taste of the sauce. I explained
that I've always order the same thing and this wasn't the taste
of the sauce, it was the taste of the steak. She got rude about it and said
we weren't getting a free steak dinner just because we didn't
like the sauce(?) When I asked her if she'd tasted the steak I'd
sent back, she said no because they had thrown it out but she "knew*
there was nothing wrong with it.
They did cook us another steak (with sauce) and that one tasted just
fine. Which was all I wanted in the first place.

Living in Arlington, and working in the Richardson area places me in
a position where if I want to meet someone North of Campbell for a first
date this is the place. The name dispells the theme of the resturant.
White linen, wait staff pleasant and very well intune to the menu. Nightly
specials - seafoods are a must - I am never ever embarassed to state thats
where we will meet.

A very nice and romantic place to take a date. The food is really
good and is always hot and fresh. its usuallr pretty crowded and
quite loud but the food makes up for it. the service is always friendly
and fast. very good endless salad bowl also. Also have a very good
sunday brunch. a nice place to go with friends for lunch also.

My favorite Restaurant in Plano. I drive from McKinney at least
once a week. Try the Shrimp Po Boy or the catfish for lunch. The
only thing wrong with the Sunday brunch is that it is only served
on Sunday. Great waitstaff always greets you as if you were home.

The food and service are generally great here. Very crowded
at lunch time and so noisy that there is no way to carry
on a conversation but to shout across the table.

Mac's is by far the one of the best restaurants in the North Dallas
area. The food is consistently fantastic. The service is top-notch.

One of the few places in Plano with white tablecloths---makes
it a nice place for business lunches. The food is fresh, not overcooked,
and arrives hot. This is a nice, romantic place to eat. The salmon
is terrific with
dill or your favorite sauce. I'm a bit partial to hollandaise
myself.

myself. I was a bit under-dressed...would recommend in the neighborhood
of business-casual for dinners. Great food, service and candle-lit
atmosphere.
