The food here is definitely not Tex-Mex. We went about 5pm ona Saturday night. Not a large
crowd at that time but itappeared it might get busier later in the evening. They have a band
stage and a VERY loud juke box (better sit on the east wall if you like to talk during your
meal). Good serving sizes for the price, very polite servers; however, brush up on your
Spanish... remember, this is an authentic establishment!

Well cats and kittens, I have to give this particular
restaurant a '3' due to the fact that my dining partner and
I were divided on opinions. He ordered the carnosaur
special; lots of sausage and whole slabs o' bacon, and later
complained of tummyache. I, on the other hand, ordered the
fajita B'rito (excellent. I highly recommend it.) , chicken
fajita tacos, several tamales, and chips/guac/hot sauce. As
a general rule I like to give at least four stars to any
establishment that serves HOT HOT salsa, and the salsa was
heated, which I generally give Five to SIXTY stars for.
Bottom line: Make the pligrimage to Garland to eat at
Victor's. Authentic mexican doesn't get any finer.
However, if you aren't in the mood for tummyache, avoid the
carnosaur plate.
