Good steak, but not excellent. Cooked properly, nice atmosphere.
Service was solid, food arrived on time. A little expensive for
the quality. Probably would try another steak house next time.

If you want a good steak, then this is the place. A Texas tradition.
There is a menu item for everyone.

Kirby's has a long tradition in Dallas although the Plano location
has only been around for a few years. Nonetheless, it follows
in the tradition of the top steakhouses in Big D.
I enjoyed the prime rib but still rate it below Lawry's. The real
star of the evening was my wife's lobster. Reasonably priced
at $ 35.00, it was absolutely one of the best that we've had anywhere.
We both highly recommend it.
Try the garlic mashed potatoes for a side. They are very good.
Our dessert of chocolate mousse with strawberries was light
enough to close off a very nice evening of dining. Good service
in comfortable setting.

I love Kirby's Steakhouse!! The steaks are wonderful and juicy, and they cook
them just the way you like them.
I also enjoyed the pickle chips and crab claws.

The best steaks I have had in a long time.
The service was great, the water glasses always full and the
bread crumbs were brushed away several times during dinner.
A pleasant experience.

Excellent food and service. Nice quiet dinner with outstanding
service. Our water glass were allways full and the crums from the
wonderful bread were scooped up before they hit the table. Salad
came with the meal but the potatos and rice are extra, no big
thing but a little annoying. Would have liked a few other choices
on the appetizer menu. Overall, a great place for a great dinner.

The food was only up to cafeteria standard. The salad
consisted of lettuce (that's right, just lettuce.) The wine
glasses are small and overfilled with very bland house wine.
The seasoned rice tastes like comes out of a jar purchased in bulk
at Sam's. The steaks were okay but turned to ashes in our mouths
when the bill came: $70 for one adult and one teenager, without
appetizer or dessert! For a really lousy meal!
The manager offered me several excuses when I pointed out my
dissatisfaction to him afterwards, but made no attempt to
correct the outrageous pricing and poor food and wine standards.
We came away with a distinct feeling of having been ripped off.
The same meal, at $30-35, might have been digestible. But
not at twice the price.

The best steaks I've had anywhere. Other unique items on the menu
including steamed artichokes and fried pickle chips (killer!)
