Wide variety of sushi. Everything was very fresh. I especially
enjoyed the tempura, but for those really into hard core sushi,
there were no complaints from my table. The staff was very friendly.

Sushi on Mckinney used to be the best Sushi bar in Dallas, but has
declined steadilly over the last two years, since BeBe a very
fine Sushi Chef left. They try to rush you in and out and do not give
you time to enjoy your food. The Sushi quality has been below average
on my last four visits and I would reccomend some of the newer places
like Blue Fish or Teppo if you enjoy the finest quality Sushi and
Atmosphere!!

A truly excellent sushi restaurant, IMO. I've tried most
of the sushi bars in Dallas, and this quaint, unpretentious
venue remains my favorite. The devil roll and California
roll are both must haves. The chef will also prepare something
special if you ask. I always let him surprise me, and I've
never been disappointed. If you are only going to eat sushi
one place in Dallas, this is it.

"Sushi on McKinney" has the best sushi in Dallas. The quality of service is
great & the food more so. I tried many sushi restaurants listed in the
dining guides and I've always ended up back at Sushi on McKinney. For those
of you who wish to venture to alternate sushi restaurants because of a higher
rating per the dining guides - I say don't do it - you're wasting your time
when the best is right here! But, of course, one will do as they choose so
if you do end up somewhere else after trying Sushi on McKinney - don't say I
didn't warn you.

I live in Waco and my husband and I go EVERY week!!! We are sushi
experts and have eaten at many fine Sushi bars across the country,
Sushi On McKinney ranks right up there! The food is always fresh
and the service is very good. Tried the devil roll...OUCH!! Sit
the bar for the show and for the best service. Enjoy!!

I've tried most of the sushi bars in Dallas and keep coming back
here! They have some great specials, the jalapeno roll
(octopus, avocado & jalapeno) is our favorite and the #10
special is a good cooked item. Always very fresh and the
service is very good!

The sushi bar I was first turned on to. I have tried several
throughout the city and this one remains my favorite. The food
is fresh and tasty, the waitstaff is helpful for answering all
questions, and the atmosphere is good. The cost can start to
rise if you order ala carte, but this is true at all sushi
bars.Tempura, Octopus, Shrimp, Soft Shell Crab, Calimari, and
the California roll are my favorites. Be careful of the Devil
Roll. This is only for those of you who are tough enough for
the PAIN. I get it every other time. Enjoy!
