The pork ribs here are amazing. Oddly, the salad bar here is really good
as well. It's not big but everything is fresh. The bleu cheese dressing
is to die for. My husband & I come here and split a large order of the
pork ribs and we each get a trip to the salad bar and we are stuffed! The
ribs are huge and very meaty. The fried pie is excellent but not something
we eat often.

I came across this place looking for some
BBQ. What a find. The baby back ribs were moist, tender and sauced
to perfection. We also tried a fried fruit pie, too.
unhealthy, but you only live once. We loved the ribs so much, we
took extra with us for a late night snack back at the hotel

The BBQ is good; the sauce is what makes it (especially the spicy).
Try the steamed spinach in lemon butter sauce. The squash cassarole
is
unexpected in a good way. For dessert, the fried pies are the thing
to pick.
They'll make coconut even though it's not on the daily
menu and it's a close
tie with chocolate. Don't pass up looking at all the hokey
pics and memorabilia
on the walls, makes you feel like a little rugrat again.

Brisket was dry as a bone. Sides were good, sausage OK. Sauce is
fair, the hot version is better. Maybe I'll try ribs if I go
back, but I prefer places that have good brisket.

If you are looking for some really good Texas barbecue, this is
the place to go! The food was really tasty and the BBQ was not burned!!
Large sized portions and many side dishes to choose from. The
hostesses were also very friendly!!!

In town for a wedding, I came across this place looking for some
BBQ. What a find. The baby back ribs were moist, tender and sauced
to perfection. We also tried a fried fruit pie, too. Horribly
unhealthy, but you only live once. We loved the ribs so much, we
took extra with us for a late night snack back at the hotel. Pretty
interesting decor and a bargain...Looks like lots of people
regularly stop in as the seats are saggy from frequent usage.

For brisket sandwiches, Sonny Bryan?s (Inwood location only)
is still king. But Peggy Sue wins hands down for tender ribs, and
home style vegetables, and deserts.

A fixture in Snider Plaza, Peggy Sue's has very good
Barbeque, a good salad bar, and extraordinary onion
rings. Service is good, and prices are good too.
