Commercialized mexican food....food is to be expected of these money
cows. Second one I've been to...food is far from authentic.

Excellent: This is a very cool restaurant. The food was excellent,
only had appetizers and cocktails but the quantity of food was
huge and so was the flavor. The Margaritas were excellent and
the salsa is superb. Great atmosphere for all ages.

Excellent authentic-Mexican food in a fun setting. The bar gets
crowded most evenings and the restaurant serves real Mexican
preparations, not Americanized versions. Definitely worth
the trip.
I'm from out of town but I think the restaurant is now located further
north than the map shows. It is definitely north of the 635 freeway
and I thought right on the North Dallas Tollway frontage road.

Greatness! This is some of the best food in Dallas. The atmosphere
is somewhat elegant but not dressy. Try the cold beers and tasty
drinks with a big plate of cheese enchiladas topped with some
of the best salsa around.

Love this restaurant. Great wait staff, great food, and it is
nice to not have the usual "Mexican Marketplace" atmosphere.
We eat here once a week and always receive great service. We no
longer have to request extra salsa, everyone gets their own bowl.
Even my niece and nephew, two very picky eaters, love Mi Cocina.
I keep promising myself I'll try a new dish, but the LuAnn keeps
calling me back.
Only disappointment is that the soft corn tortillas are not complimentary
(guess times have changed).
