Food was fairly decent. Very friendly staff. Daily lunch specials
are good and modestly priced.

I dig this restaurant. Great atmosphere. If you're lucky,
you'll show up at dinner some evening when they have the
pan-flute GROOVEMASTER mariachi band by the fountain. I agree
with Powell on the Chili Rellenos; my favorite in the city when
it comes to sit-down Mexican. Be sure to take advantage of the
well-stocked bar. Also, Mattito's claims to have the largest
selcetion of Tequilas in Texas, but this critic's mind that's not
necessarily a good thing. I also recall one time we were there
with a group on a large round table. The service was so good and
speedy, as soon as we had acknowledged that we were through with
our plates, they WHISKED! off the entire table faster than you
can say 'largest selection of tequilas in Texas' ...Go to
Mattito's. Chief digs it.

Good, solid Tex-Mex cuisine in a refined setting. The
rellenos and taquitos are my favorites. Order the Jack
Armstrong appetizer (not on menu) for a combo of guacamole,
sour cream, cheese, onions, and ground beef layered in a
dish and popped under the broiler 'til the cheese melts.
This could be a whole meal for two with a cold beer! Sit on
the patio if possible.

Everything done to perfection at this Oak Lawn establishment. Sit
outside when the weather permits. Excellent TexMex and one of the best
chicken fried steaks in Dallas.

Great food, great service, with a mahogany and
white tablecloth flair. I think it's the chili relleno
that has raisin and pecan garnish, wonderful. This is
a favorite destination to take visitors to Big D.
Great for business lunches. They are very accomodating
for groups too.
