This is a great place for a first date. The atmosphere is great
a page right out of Venice. I have tried just about everything
on the menu and some specials off the menus(a perk for regulars)
I cannot say enough the food is fabulous and the service is excellent.
Just a hair away from 5 stars. Maybe next visit!
Enjoy

Probably the most romantic restaraunt i have been to in dallas.
A great place to take a date for some truly superb italian food.
Their bread is really good and always brought to your table fresh
from the oven. They have a very nice piano lounge also. The staff
are wonderful and very friendly. Great atmoshpere also.

I've only been there twice -- both times in the 1980s. But
I've never forgotten what a magical experience it was, and
I'm finally getting to go again tonight! In my lifelong,
two-continent quest for great Italian, no restaurant has even
come close to Il Sorrento. (Especially the fettucine al alfredo!)

I loved this place! The pizza and pasta are the best in Dallas.
I could die for the lasagna, go there and try it! You'll never
eat better!
