A big greasy five star chili-cheeseburger in a joint on far north Harry
Hines where it wouldn't surprise anyone to find Jimmy Buffett!
A very diverse crowd is normal. If there is anything negative about
this place, other that it's appearance, it's that it's
usually crowded. Great live blues several nights a week, outdoor dining
and music when it's cooler.

I love the way you just walk in and get warmed with customer service
and appreciation. These people really know what theyre doin.
I love the food and its affordable to, I even met a cute chick and
got her number when I was there. So if you like a good calm time without
a lot of noise then go here sometime. You wont regret it....

This place has the best burgers, but it is a real turn-off on the
dirtyness.The burgers are great!What they do, I don't
know, but it is very greasy and dirty.Makes the rating come way
down. But go here if you like burgers!

I would have given this 5 stars but the atmosphere was lacking
as was the cleanliness. The burgers are by far the best I've
ever had, but the floor is peeling & the grease is an inch thick
on the walls.
If I'm ever in Dallas again, I will definately make it a point
to visit this place, as it is just that good.
But be warned about the atmosphere & cleanliness.

Unbelievable ! I am a musician, and had a gig at the hole in the wall.
I got there and saw what a dive it looked like on the inside, and
then saw all the newspaper articles about the "Best Burger in
Dallas" Sooo, I tried one of the "award winning" burgers, and
It's ALL TRUE !! I don't know how they get them to taste the way they
do, but befor my gig was over, I had two more!

Alright all you reviewers from D Magazine, Texas Monthly, & the
Morning News, here goes: YES! Dallas has 5 star hamburgers! It is
absurd to compare and rate a 'burger joint with the Mansion on Turtle
Creek, and it is absurd to think that the best hamburger the city of
Dallas can muster(d) up is worthy of only 2 1/2 stars! Well I say
ground BULL! Dallas has 5 star 'burgers and Hole In the Wall is
certainly one of them. Everything you'd want: grease, handmade thick
patty, home cut fries, cold beer & live music. A cardiologists' dream!
