Blake's has really good burgers...Its restaurant style gourmet burgers so the patty is super thick and the bread is like french bread. Delicious! totally worth it. Decor is too much like a bar and less an eatery, its really a lot of good food. <br> There's usually live music playing at night, you have to pay a cover but once you become a regular, the bouncer will let you slide. Be friendly. Thursday nights are good for dancing. friday's good live music. thursday nights are when the girls come out.

If you go for the food, stick to the burgers, sandwiches and salads. They attempt other dishes (eg. pasta, jambalaya) but don't usually succeed at making something interesting. The fish and chips is particularly strange-tasting. On bartenders are all really cool and the nighttime crowd makes for a fun place. It's nice and large (three levels) which is unusual around the Cal campus and the live music is generally interesting.

Bleah, food is average, but what makes up for it is the late night atmosphere...you can lurk in the back and enjoy the live music or bask in the limelight at the bar up front. Neat place to hang out...

This a pretty cool place to hang out. The sandwiches and salads are good, even though there are other places around that can compete. The atmosephere at nights can be fun.
