This place is the the real deal! It looks like a dive from the outside. Residing in the old Pepito's location. You have to look past the exterior of the strip mall ambiance and snuggle up with a plate of enchiladas or fish tacos. The food is fresh, not greasy and has very unique flavors. Check out the carnita enchildadas with the green sauce. The fish tacos are too die for and if you leave without tasting the aztrec tortillas soup- you are missing out my friends! Chef Miguel Mendez is originally from Mexico City, where he learned to cook from his grandmother and mom. Their 200+ year old recipes are as authentic as they get (trust me! I am from Texas and know good Mexican food!).
