Not a fine dining experience. This is an old cafe, one of the few remaining
on South Beach that hasn't suffered from the yuppitized renewal
of this area. Most of the diners are old timers who still enjoy a plate
of authentic cuban food served with good coffee and good conversation.
You will not be "wowwed" when you step in. Just another lunch
counter. However, the food easily makes up for any disappointment
you may have in the atmosphere. Or, maybe you are like me, and really
enjoy these old spots.
