This one didn't have the patio so my host only took me by it,
but like the other locations they have 37 toppings for pizza,
so many different specialty pizzas, and it gets better, all the
way up to a special dessert 'cookie' -- with pasta and
seafood and all sorts of authentic Italian food for rounding
out a terrific meal. Prices are great and the food is even better.
The atmosphere alone is worth stopping in for, just remember
that you're better off picking a week night because every
Oregano's I've been to has been busy with satisfied,
repeat customers. The dining room is nice but I really adore the
patio eating area in the other locations like the one in Tempe
( each with a slightly different theme/flair to it). Give any
of their locations a try, you won't regret it and you'll
want to go back again and again. I was only visiting so we didn't
try this one but my host has tried it and he said if we'd had
time and if I hadn't been raving about outdoor patio eating....
If I ever get back to AZ, it'll be on my list to visit, but again
I'll probably end up at one of the ones with the patio (locations
are in Tempe, Old Towne Scottsdale, North Scottsdale, Flagstaff,
Tucson, & Phoenix). Since I didn't eat here personally
I couldn't give it a 5 star rating but my host has several times
and he raves about it, so it's at least a 4 star if not more.
Give it a try, maybe on a rainy day when you don't want to eat
outside anyway and you're in the area?
