I have been going to Baby Doe's for 20 years. Yes, perhaps the outside of the buildeing and the restrooms need work. I believe the restaurant is EXCEPTIONAL! The brunch will not leave you wanting for anything. If they don't have what you want, look a little farther...it's there. The personnel are very helpful and have a sense of humor, which I love. Mamosas? The best in Dallas, by far!

Expect to wait and have your car parked. Steep hill. Beautiful views of the city. Is best at night but is also a great place for a company lunch. The food has always been great and the service superior. Has a little gift shop and a bar downstairs for the overflow. Very unique and one of a kind places. Makes a good choice for a special occassion.

One of the original and still best places in town for awesome food, wonderful service and one of the best views around. The Beer Cheese soup is a delight, and even more enhanced by the Honey Pumpernickle bread. The salads are average, as salads go, but the Steak & Seafood dishes melt in your mouth. Second best wine selection (Nick & Sams down the street has the best), and a must for Valentines day or other special event. Evening dining on a clear night is most romantic. The bar downstairs is a nice getaway, and the theme is beautifully unique (It was built over 35 years ago when theme restaraunts were NOT all the rage). In the Sunday brunch is a bit too pricey for what you get, but that's not it's strongest asset anyway. Definitely a 5 star choice!

Don't eat the Sunday brunch. We waited an hour with reservations and the food was terrible. Everything was cold and had no taste. The service was even worse. I will not go back!!

This is a great place to get away from it all. The food was excellent and so was the service. The atmosphere and the view are impecable.

Neat theme! It was a little crowded but the view was great. The service was good and the food was too. The bar downstaris was 'unique' but overall it had a fun atmosphere.

Mediocre to "pretty good". Not outstanding. Great view of the interstate & warehouse district. Trading on its location and tradition, not its kitchen.

Food was good in a unique "mine setting". The atmosphere IS the attraction here. Booths were a bit dirty and the the inside temperature much too hot. Cheese soup a bit 'funky' tasting. Great view of the freeway! Decend the mine shaft to the unique bar downstairs. Service was fair. It's one of those been there, done that kinda places. Interesting on the first visit but a return it questionable.

Supposed to be a silver mine. One of the original "theme" restaurants ie. Outback Steakhouse, goes back at least 20 years. Specialties have included prime rib, steaks, seafood, beer cheese soup and great views of downtown Dallas. Fun place for a group or romantic for just two.
