Good food -- had appetizers. The spinach and artichoke dip was
good. Gumbo was tasty. The quesadillas weren't the best
-- a little greasy.

The martinis are good. Had a chocolate one and tasted on the honeydew.

This restaurant and bar specializes in sandwiches and martinis
but also offers an extensive selection of appetizers, pastas
and entrees; plus a wide assortment of good microbrews on tap,
and wines by the glass or bottle.

Located at Newport on the Levee hard by the banks of the Ohio River,
the best thing about Bar Louie is that they serve food until closing
time, which is between 2 and 2:30.
