Excellent food!! On Sundays they have a seafood buffet that is the best around. The food is spectacular and the service to match!! Also has a good bar. It's a great place to hold meetings or to receptions upstairs in the building!

Hank's offers a very nice dining experience. The staff is helpful and friendly. The menu offers the normal steaks, chicken, seafood. Unfortunately all of the apptizers are fried. The atmosphere is country elegant. It is a large white painted wooden barn with an exposed beam interior. A sweater or jacket would be in order for the gentlemen and a dress or slacks for the ladies. I suggest it for a fine summer drive down Rt.6 from the Chicago area or as an alternative to dining at the Starved Rock Lodge when visiting the area.

One of my absolutely favorite places. The food, salad bar, atmosphere, and overall fine service is second to none. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable night out. Incidentally, I base these judgements on years of dining pleasure at Hanks.

Great food, nice atmosphere, Restaurant used to be an old barn. Terrific salad bar. Prime rib was great. Seemed to have a nice selection of Italian-American items on there menu.
