Thai Kitchen is in this very odd shopping center on Henderson just east
of Hwy 65, same place that Porter St. BBQ is, and right next to Rosa's
Italian. It is a narrow little restaurant, but has seating all the way
back to the kitchen area. The food is excellent, my favorite being the
papaya salad and panang curry. The pad kee mao (wide rice noodles and
veggies in a medium spicy sauce) is also very good. There are daily specials,
and fried bananas for dessert. Thai Kitchen can get very busy, or be
nearly empty sometimes, but for my money is one of the best places in
Porterville for lunch. Highly recommended.
