Rugby Beach Club Grille is the first restaurant that I've seen
that allows you to mix-and-match the different foods on their menu
to create your own entree. You can choose any of the meats available
(steak, lamb, chicken, pork, and seafood) and match them up with any
of their side dishes which include several tasty vegetables and carbohydrate
options. The beauty of the a-la-carte idea is that if you want just steak,
you can have just steak. If you want just mushrooms or a side of potatoes,
then you can have just mushrooms or a side of potatoes! Combine any self-made
entree with any of the mouthwatering appetizers offered and you have
the potential to create hundreds of different dining experiences.
If the food isn't enough to convince you to visit, then the drinks
will. The Rugby Beach Club Grille is known for having rock-bottom drink
prices: one can always find drinks priced under $3. I don't know
of any other restaurant that can match this deal, making the Rugby Beach
Club Grille a near ideal place for bringing a bunch of friends without
worrying about running over budget!
The restaurant is quite classy for a "grille", and has an
ambiance that is upscale sporty casual. Each table has two attentive
servers: one specializing in drinks, the other in food. The atmosphere
and service make it ideal for a first date, a casual meet-up, or a relaxed
evening with friends.
After dining at this restaurant, I sure you'll agree that there
is a lot to be said for simplicity.

By far, the best place in town to go for extremely cheap drinks
(without the piss smell of the Ivanhoe) and amazing food. I believe
the kitchen has, on a continual basis, some of the best chefs in
Vancouver.
I heard the owner(s) started this place to give those without
the high Vancouver income a place to get great food at very reasonable
prices.
The service is some of the worst in town; I don't understand
how anyone can say it's great. I'm a regular, but the
wait staff is slow and I've even heard a waitress once continually
blame the bartender. For the amount of servers roaming around
I expect much better service.
Now, having said that, I'm moving away for a while and this
is the place that I will miss the most by far.
Get your butts down there. It's awesome. Kind of like the
Keg commercials, but with really good food.

This place is great! The waiters and waitresses are very friendly,
they don't treat you as just another customer, but someone
important.
I was there the other night, and we ordered our food and it was there
withing 10-15 minutes. If it's your birthday, you get a free
piece
of cake. I urge you to try this place out. You won't be disappointed.
The food is just delicious.
