What a nice change! From a tired old restaurant to a new modern restaurant
with a great menu and very good quality food. I have had lunch there a
few times and have found the food delicous each time. From the clam chowder,
crab cakes, to the steak w/sauteed spinach and onion rings, all were
done perfect! I will continue to dine there and maybe try out the breakfasts.

Few diners in the south bay offer the combination of modern decor combined
with downhome cooked meals, including all day breakfast without time
limits (I like a good Eggs Benedict at 2pm).
Amilia Cafe was once a really bad branch of Flame's restaurant,
which was terrible. Owner Yong Choi did a beautiful job of remodelling
the restaurant, and offers all the American favorites, but adds a welcome
touch of friendliness, with great personal service.
Waiters are polite and cheerful, and always check in on your table to
refill drinks or get napkins. THE BEST place in the SF south bay for breakfast
lunch or dinner!
The food is TOP NOTCH and you never see a plate leaving a table that isn't
empty (a sign of great tasting food).
Amilia cafe is one restaurant that deserves to stay open for a very long
time. It is quickly becoming the local favorite breakfast hangout.
In short order, it will be one of the busiest restaurants in the south
bay.
