Oh Ryan! Cafe

Auburn finally has a good breakfast restaurant in town. Oh Ryan! Café just opened in August and they seem to be off to a great start. They serve an outstanding breakfast and lunch with large portions to boot. They have quite an extensive menu; home made biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast and an interesting but good twist on Corn Beef Hash. I’ve tried their buckwheat pancakes which are awesome and they’re served with warm syrup. I’ve also tried their Sausage and Mushroom Scramble which I was thoroughly impressed with also. If you love rich and smooth coffee they serve that also. The last time that I visited I noticed they had just added a line of desserts to their menu. The portions on most everything are very large and first grade quality ingredients. It seems that Oh Ryan! Café prides them selves in making most of their menu items from scratch. Café you have the option of either sitting at their counter area or having a table in the dining room. I’ve had the opportunity to sit at both. I liked the feel of the counter area because it made me feel like I was part of the action within the restaurant. Sitting at a table in the dining room made me feel like I could have a more intimate conversation though. Both were fun, I guess my preference would depend on who I was dining with. The colors and the music played within the restaurant are fun and give the restaurant a warm home like atmosphere. The presentation of food is also splendid and served on real plates instead of the cheap plastic ones that most restaurants serve their food on. If you like good home cooking then you will enjoy Oh Ryan! Café. The service is friendly and the food is outstanding. What more can you ask for? less
