Pepitos

Pepitos is located in what used to be Davids White House Restaurant on Rt.155 in Providence Forge. It features a wide variety of Mexican fare at good prices and with a very nice atmosphere. It is an actual house that has a lot of history to it, and there are two dining areas downstairs plus a full bar with some tables, and a huge room suitable for groups and parties upstairs. They also have American items for those who don't care for Mexican, kids plates, and a Vegetarian menu (think spinach enchilada). We enjoy their Gran Pepito Sampler which features one of each - chalupa, chile relleno, taco al carbon (grilled steak taco), burrito, tamale with the usual rice and beans for $11.95 unless you're super-hungry it can be enough for two. Everything that we have tried there in the four years or so since David's moved out, has been excellent! Every now and then they make a special Mexican Lasagna which is very interesting and tasty. We never have tried their desserts - too full! ... more
