Garozzo's closed in 2008, and I for one won't miss it. The restaraunt that came afterward wasn't popular either. Garozzo's was expensive for the food you got, even the Sunday Brunch was a bit of a ripoff. We showed up when they opened, and the omlet maker and Roast beef carver didn't show up for another hour.

Gave it a try again a while back, don't know if words can really describe that experience. I won't be back

I worked at Garozzo's and all I can say is the management sucks. They curse, do drugs, and pick favorites. Lets just say I "didn't fit in too well". I also had plenty of time to test all the food there as well and let me tell ya, Carabba's and Olive Garden are both 20 times better... I found myself at Olive Garden, Johnny Carino's and Carabba's several times while working there. They say they have the best alfredo. Thats a negative. All my friends call the place "Gross-o's" Like the guy above me. He is soooo right! Honestly the only good things there is the bread and the garlic dipping oil and the house salad... And I'd choose the food over working there ANY DAY.

I must admit I expected a bit more after reading some of the reviews. I wouldn't plan to go back anytime soon. Not impressed is the best way to describe it

I will keep this simple. I have eaten here twice. My wife and I go out to eat almost every night. I would say that this restaurant is nothing more than average at best. I place Carino's, Carraba's and Angelo's ahead of it. One of the things that I don't like about it is the sauce. I do not like sweet sauces and this is what they use primarily. If you haven't tried the above establishments, try them first and I guarantee you won't go back to "Gross-O's". :)

Hi
I have been to this place three times, and the second time I was sitting with an employee but the service is only so-so. I have been there once for dinner and twice for Sunday Brunch. The first time for Brunch we were there when brunch started. The omlet guy showed up 45 minutes after we were seated. The prime rib came out one hour and 15 minutes after we were seated. For $17.50 per person, I want one heck of a lot of omlet, and quite a bit of prime rib.
Dinner was not much better. The entree I ordered was chicken rolled in a fancy ham and breaded. There were three of them, and I was very hungry when I left. I have been informed that the fettucine comes in a German shepard sized dog dish and is well worth ordering, but then I'm trying to avoid the carbs.
The third trip was for mother's day. I just shut up and paid throught the nose. Probably won't be back. The food was O.K., but Johnny Carino's was just as good for half the price. This place got the single star for value to money ratio. I didn't gag, but for what I paid......

Finally, a big city restaurant makes it to the small town of Wichita to give this town some class within the restaurant market. This city has long been neglected with new, upscale, and QUALITY restaurant additions. Garozzos caters to an upscale crowd. You know this before you even walk in the door. Look at the exterior. There is wonderful architecture harkening to something from Italy. Once inside there is a rich, warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff awaiting you. Everything is top notch within this restaurant. I had the Chicken Spedini Garozzo. It is a fabulous entree. Be sure to be prepared for such large portions. Garozzos is famous for this in Kansas City as well as Wichita it appears. These are grilled chicken rolls marinated and drenched with their own sauce. I added a fettucine white sauce to it to bring out some more flavor. Simply devine is what this dish is. The service is wonderful. The atmosphere is perfect. The presentation is to die for. Don't miss Garozzo's on your next night out!
