Here is a very good place to find out how even some of the most delicious
food in the world doesn't normally have to contain meat.
Fancy that.... from the "Land of the Dog Eaters'"-
(Korea's) national dish- (Kimchee) isn't meat...
I admire these people for being unique, especially to do it in
cutthroat restaurant town- Chicago, the city of meat, where
they could very easily buy their meat supplies from the Water
Street market like everyone else, but choose not to.
Therefore I'd recommend this place to anyone, and come here
anytime I get to the city, if not even just to say hello and give
them my blessing. I hope they can improve their hours and seating,
but they are doing their best I THINK, considering how Lakeview
is kind of a borderline neighborhood, upscale but still a little
dangerous on the edges, especially for Koreans.

Vegetarian Korean cuisine. Unusual combinations, unique presentation.
Very tasy, portions small, but adequate.
Uncomfortable seating. Waitstaff unable to explain dishes
or preparation--menu was of little help.

service, but that's not what I eat out for.
I have found that all dishes (several visits,
with several people) use only fresh
ingredients, and are fairly described on the
menu as to spicyness and cooking style.

Very good and very different. Might not be the best intro to
Asian veggie food due to its novelty. Tends to close early
with no warning, so call before you spend the 20 minutes
parking and walking.
