You find yourself in the mid 50s, wandering around. You're hungry.
You're looking for someplace that doesn't charge and arm
and a leg. This isn't the place.
All but across the street from the Carnegie Deli, it tends to get the
overflow crowd from there and tourists. As a matter of fact, I think
this place exists to bilk tourists and unsuspecting people from other
parts of town, who are in the neighborhood for interviews and auditions.
When the outside advertises itself as a diner, you really don't
expect to pay an arm and a leg.
But then you get inside. How much for a burger? $13? You want HOW MUCH
for a sandwich?
So I ordered the burger. Yes, it was huge. But they're that big at
Jackson Hole too and about half the price. Yes, the bread was better
than at Jackson Hole. But that was about it. It was a truly unspectacular
burger. It was average. Very average.
Avoid this place, unless you're desperate.
