I had dinner here Friday night. I did not see any entrees over $20. I had the Country Pork Pate, A bowl of Steamed Mussels, A huge plate of Chicken Coq au Vin with Mushroom Polenta and the Chocolate Mousse. I also had a different "taste" of wine with each course. My wife who had the Goat Cheese Salad, Penne Pasta and the Poached Pear, also had a "taste" of wine with each course. Our Check was just under $100. We had seven glasses of wine here! Seven different dishes! I will be coming back twice a week. I have never eaten this much French style food for such a low price...

Absinthe Bistro and Bar the home of unpretentious French Bistro classics like Beef Brisket Bourguignon, Chicken Coq au Vin, and Duck Cassoulet. Not one dish over 18 bucks. Nightly wine pairing dinners in Orlando’s only underground wine cellar. An extensive wine list with over 20 by the taste and glass. Chase the Green Fairy in the lounge for Green Hour from 5pm to 7pm for 4 dollar cocktails, wine tasters, and half priced beers. Absinthe based Green Fairy shots for 3 bucks, every time the train goes by. Good Food, Good Wine, Good Booze, and Good Times at Absinthe Bistro and Bar. Downtown Orlando in the Church Street Station. www.absinthebistro.com
