Stopped by for lunch today - good Mexican is very hard to find in Florida.
This is a noisy (very) casual spot where you place your order at the counter
and pay, and then have a seat. Wait staff then walks through the dining
area calling out names of the person they are seeking.
Being a Nacho fan, I did order the ultimate nachos, and got a bowl of pretty
good chips, nothing outstanding, a small container of decent salsa,
and on top of the chips was cold grated cheese, a combination of canned
and fresh jalapenos, a little lukewarm shredded chicken, a drizzle
of something white across the top - maybe sour cream? and a lot of lettuce.
No salt, no pepper, and no eating utelsils. I asked for them three times
and never got a response.
No hot plate, no melted cheese, just an idea of what someone in this chain
thinks are Nachos. Ought to call it Chips Covered in Cheese and Lettuce
with a touch of spice and shredded chicken.
Other diners around me commented that it was a fast ...
