Another great find! This little place looks like it was an old house
at one time, but today it is churning out some real top notch meals. The
Chef used to be a Palermo's in San Jose for years and be a big fan of
that establishment was just the excuse to try out his new place. My visit
was at lunch, it started off with water with slice of lemon and a complementary
slice of Bruschetta, very nice.
We ordered the fried Calamari as an Antipasto and I would have to say
it would be one of the best I have ever had, oil free, tender, served with
some type of home made Marinara. Their bread is just out of this world,
served hot, crunchy on the outside, moist and flavorful.
I ordered the Penne, Porcini mushrooms & Sausage in a light cream
sauce ($12.75). This is the third time I have ordered this, it’s that
good. They give you plenty here; I had enough leftover for another meal.
My friend ordered a Linguine with Prawns, roasted peppers, et. al.
