I guess the name of the place has to do with the rotweiler breed of dog, or more likely, dogs in general. There were photographs of dogs and other dog-related items on the walls. My wife and I stopped here for lunch earlier this month. We weren't starving but needed something to eat. We saw they had "Half a Pizza" on the menu. We ordered that. thinking a small-to-medium size pizza would be delivered to our table. What came was exactly what it said - it was one-half of a large pizza. While the pizza was not bad, in our opinion it needed more sauce (and I am not real big on a lot of sauce) and the cheese did not taste like mozzarella. The place was well attended. And we noticed that one table nearby order onion rings which turned out to be huge! And they looked good. Also, at another table, two children were served their meals in dog bowls. Anyway, the place was fun and even though our pizza was not the best, we would not hesitate to come back.
