This place opened about 2-weeks ago. It is family owned. And the owners
who used to live in New Orleans(Irving and his wife Sharon) were so friendly,
we felt like family when we left.
The food was amazing. By far the best BBQ&Ribs in Las Vegas. The
pulled pork was very tender, the sausage had a unique smoked wood flavor
and the chicken had great spice.
My only complaints were too much BBQ sauce on the meat. Next time I will
ask for it on the side, and I was unimpressed with the Mac&cheese.
It had an oily flavor, with little to cheese flavor.
Be sure to ask Irving about the pictures on the wall.
These family pictures have their own unique stories behind them, signifying
the African American struggle in the south during the early to mid 20th
century.
