In Auburn, as in Angola, you can look in the papers each week for
Whopper specials. Normally, they'll cost you $1.99 each,
but if you keep your eyes open, you can often find them for "two
for $1.99".
I brush off most of the novelty foods at Burger King, because they
truly are mostly hype, anything to get you to forget "the
Whopper" but, I have to say, I'll always reserve a specialy
fondness in my heart for the Whopper.
Who can disagree? The beef patties are thick, juicy and char-broiled.
And they put lots of onions, Lettuce and Tomatoes on them. And,
at Burger King, don't forget, you can "have them your
way", even to asking for "extra" tomatoes or
lettuce, as well. Try it, they usually don't bother to charge
you.
From the condiment rack, you can easily add as much ketchup to
anything as you like. If you ask at the counter, they have mayo
and mustard. I usually soak them in ketchup, etc. as well.. ...
