Kravitz's Delicatessen is an area institution. It is still being run by Mrs. Kravitz, who carries on the tradition she and her husband started in 1939. <br> The Reuben is the featured sandwich, of course. But I prefer the North Side Special. It's basically a Reuben, but substitute their excellent cole slaw for the sauerkraut. It comes ungrilled, but you can have it grilled if you'd like. <br> They bake their own bread and bagels there, and they sell their bagels in local grocery stores. You can buy 6 bagels for $1 at the deli, which is a great deal for fresh made bagels. <br> And save room for the housemade pastries available there. Take some home with you. They also have deli meats available for sale by the pound. <br> It ain't New York, but it's pretty good.
