I agree with the previous reviewer: one does not usually expect anything
great at an interstate exit; this is an exception. My wife and I have
stopped here twice in recent years; both times we ate the family-style
German meal. It is not a cheap place to eat, but you get plenty of food
for your money. Please be hungry when you stop here.
The staff are very friendly also.

I was amaized at this "exit" restaurant. The food
was DELICIOUS......More than anyone can eat, as it is served
family style. Just South of Amana, this is a MUST stop. We found
it heading west and made sure we stopped again on our return. Amber,
our young waitress was exceptional in both helping us decide
and keeping the serving dishes full. Make sure you try the broccolli
salad.......
