First of all... This is NO IN-N-OUT who I consider to make the best fast food burgers in the industry... No... Apparently, everyone in Las Cruces learns how to make hamburgers at the same Hamburger School i.e., they like to stick chopped up onions on your burger instead of the usual slices. So of course when you lift that burger to your mouth, all the onions fall out of the burger. Nothing special... Consistent is about the only thing I can say about it. The actual burgers don't have any special flavor to them... i.e., no salt, no pepper... Having said that... Try the onion rings... This is the ONLY reason to go to Blakes. Jack.

Man passing by Blakes's brought back memories, so we stopped and got a burger. The Green Chile Burger needs to make it outside of New Mexico, because I love the taste.

Blake's Lotaburger, is an Albuquerque based hamburger chain, and they offer custom-made hamburgers in three sizes for all appetites. Also, BBQ, Hot dogs, Chicken Sticks, Chicken Sandwiches, and Fish at some. Try their seasoned fries, or excellent onion rings. And of course...green chile's & cheese on your burger is de rigeur!...It is is New Mexico afterall!
