About the only dining choices that stand out in Fort Bragg are the Mendo Bistro and the Rendezvous. Nice selection of local meats and seafood. Free range chicken dish was very nice, the local fish (I forget the name, similiar to rockcod) was perfectly prepared. There was a kurobuto pork dish that sounded interesting but I love fish. House made dessert - Husband had a molten chocolate cake thing and I had a delicious apple/caramel napolean. Its pricey but less than you would spend in Mendocino for equivalently wonderful food.
