I own a group travel company and go to many of the restaurants with a busload of quilting ladies. We like good food and nice surroundings. Maxson's had both. They overlook the Rock River and have large windows along the back of the restaurant to see the view. We had the buffet which was nice. Great variety, roast, stir fry, seafood caserole, herb potatoes, rice, soup, salad and wonderful orange rolls! Very nice.
