Vote! I was very impressed with the service and food at this establishment.
It was my first visit to a French restaurant, and also my first
taste of escargot. I was amazed at the taste! The service, without
a doubt, was impeccable.

Look no further - this is a superior French restaurant with affordable
prices
It has the air of quaint country inns I had visited in France. Upon
being seated we were immediately presented with a large basket
of most tasty crusty brown rolls. We then Savored a hearty red
wine recommended by our garcon from an extensive wine list priced
from $6.00 to 8.00 per glass with bottles ranging from $24.00
to 175.00.
On to the appetizers. I went with my favorite, Escargots and was
more then delighted with these sizzling gems. Chez ma Tante offers
a variety of appetizers priced at $6.00 to 9.00.
When it came to the entree I was torn between my usual Steak au Poivre,
which I saw another diner lustily devouring, and the beef stew
which was one of the evening specials. I chose the beef stew and
was not disappointed by this scrumptious blend of beef, potatoes,
vegetables and savory gravy. My guest selected that old reliable
standby Coq au Vin which was accompanied by a huge timbal of onion
mashed potatoes, which she enjoyed with gusto. Bistro specials
and pasta range from $16.00 to 22.00 and side dishes including
spinach, asparagus string beans and pommes frites are $5.00.
The total dining experience was enhanced by a more than attentive,
but never intrusive, wait staff.
If you crave traditional French cuisine reasonably priced,
then run, don't walk to Chez ma Tante.
