Sigh, this is an update to my review of 2004. Place Tevere in Dorval was my benchmark for all other pizza since the mid 70's. This was truly in the top 5% of Pizza places on the planet. Sadly as with many things in life, this has changed. I went in about 2 months ago and the pizza, while good enough was a shadow of its former self. The crust is different and the toppings just aren't the same. Like I said, still decent pizza, but nothing like it was. From talking to friends and relatives, it seems there has been a change in ownership the last couple of years. Still, hats off to a place for making consistently great pizza from the mid 70's to about 2004...quite an acomplishment for sure! Ah well, a little bit of my inner child died with the decline of my all time favorite pizza joint :-(

This restaurant has the best pizza in the entire world. Since moving to Vancouver from Montreal 2 years ago, my family really miss the pizza. We have have a hole in our hearts for this fantastic pizza !!!! We miss you alot.
