Habibi's is the best restaurant in Amarillo that you've never been to. Edwin, owner/chef specializes in food that is prepared on-the-spot. If you're in a hurry, better call your order in, because the wait can be a little long at the table. The pizzs at Habibi's are hand-made using fresh ingredients, nothing is bought in bulk and stored for later use. Excellent pizzas. Caldones are another favorite on the menu. Chicken fried steak, breakfasts, and a few currie dishes also are there for the chosing. And bar-b-que sandwiches are availabe, but you have to ask: they are not listed on the menu. The food is great. The service can be slow. The location is terrible.Go eat there before he moves to a smaller place.
