A great Jeff Ruby restaurant, nothing but the best with wonderful food
and service. Very expensive, but the steaks are wonderful and the potatoes
are huge. Great wine selection, take her there for that special night.

Food is great...first class steakhouse. Service generally very good.
Prices high, but not out of line for the quality of food served. The vale
parking sucks and there is no convenient place to park nearby. The tables
are too crowded among each other and you may find yourself sitting inches
away from someone unknown to you. It can make for a somewhat uncomfortable
dinner. The steaks are first class.

Seems like this place is hit or miss. Some of the servers seemed to be
friendly and attentive, but not ours. The tables being so close made
for an uncomfortable meal. The rub on the steaks seems too heavy, which
I believe, can ruin a truly great steak. They do garlic mashed potatoes
here the way they should be done. Our server was prompt, but stuffy.

There's no doubt about it: The Precinct is Cincinnati's
top spot for steaks. Restaurateur Jeff Ruby's signature
steaks were first developed at this restaurant and now set the
standard for fine, hand-cut beef throughout the city. The Precinct
is set in a former police precinct (surprise, surprise) in East
Cincinnati's Columbia-Tusculum district. Inside, tables
covered with white linen are packed together tightly, although
a few intimate corner tables are available. As at the other restaurants
Ruby runs, the Precinct offers huge portions, exceptional service
and a hefty price tag. Consistently selected as Cincinnati's
best place for steak, this is the place for someone with a big appetite
and even bigger credit-card limit.

One of Cincinnati's great restaurants, the Precinct is
still one of the city's best spots to celebrate a special
occasion. The pictures of the celebrity patrons is a little irritating,
but the food more than makes up for it. One of those places that
everyone needs to try at least once.

Very unique atmosphere, and very interesting. Worth the visit
just for that. But the steaks are the best. If you like steaks,
then this is a must stop when in the area

ever tasted and the service goes very well with the class of the
restaurant. Want to impress? Take her here!
