Very nice neighborhood, family owned Thai restaurant. Great selection & value. Our favorites include a sushi appetizer, followed by a curry or pad thai.

In one word - HORRIBLE. These people should be embarrassed. Here is the scoop - I went to Asiana on a date last Friday night. We walked in and no one greeted us. Finally a girl came over and pointed us to a table to sit at. We took our coats off, sat down, and waited for our waitress. After about 2-3 minutes the same girl comes over to our table and says, "Sorry, but I forgot this table is reserved." *&^&%#) WHO DOES THAT??!!!?? Were these people raised on a farm with no manners??? The girl actually made us get up from the table. I have never experienced a restaurant with less tact in my entire life. TAKE THIS ADVICE - avoid Asaiana at all costs. They do not even deserve customers. There is a lot of sushi/asian competition in the area that have both good food AND GOOD SERVICE. Try Wild Ginger, Beluga, Sake Bomb, or Dancing Wasabi.

I stumbled upon Asiana, a new Thai restaurant, almost by accident when the restaurant I was planning on having lunch at was closed on a Monday. Asiana is locate in the former Hopsing's location on Edwards Road right across from the well known Xavier University watering hole, the Pilot Inn. In addition to the regular Thai favorites, they have some not-so-common selections along with a full sushi bar. My lunch companion and I decided to sample some sushi and a few appetizers. We started with a Screaming Roll 2, which offers your choice of either yellowfin or tuna, combined with chili sauce, cucumber, and scallion wrapped with sushi rice lightly coated with sesame seeds. The chili sauce was not overwhelming, instead nicely combining the different flavors and textures. For 6 pieces at $5.95, it is a great bargain. From the appetizer menu, we ordered Edamame, Tod Mun, and Tofu Triangle. Edamame is a green vegetable soy bean, harvested at the peak of ripe ... more
