They have excellent Japanese food here. The food is always hot and always fresh. The staff is always very nice also. The chefs do a great job entertaining you while they are cooking. This is definately a great place to go with friends.

This resturant is the BEST ever!! I love the food here. They always make sure you have a good time. They make big fires (on purpose) and flaming volcanoes to entertain you. My sister and i go there every year with our family for our birthdays. I love thier sauces. I agree with the 1st person..that they should ask how u would like ur rice because people like it diffrently just like your steak..some people like it bloody and some like it burned.

We love going here, whether it is just the 2 of us or in a group of 6-8. The Chefs are fun and know what they are doing. The sauces are great on the side. One thing, I wish they would ask you what kind of rice you would like, steamed, fried, or steamed with vegies. Overall though, we leave very satisfied.

Being from Las Vegas I have had a very hard time finding good steaks in Tacoma. This is by far the best. Great atmosphere and great food!

Sakura is a reasonable Teppanyaki restaurant-it's not inordinatly expensive and the food is pretty good. It is not on par with some fancier Teppanyaki restuarants I have been to (especially in Vacnouver BC), but you'll have a great time with your friends here.

Very very good! This is American-style Japanese food. You sit next to other parties in a U-shaped formation, all facing a grill and your chef cooks all your food right in front of you. It's a really fun place to go with great food. The shrimp is excellent. Also, make sure you try some of the orange sauce. I have no idea what it is but it's good on everything, even the bean sprouts!
