Having lived in New York in my deep dark past, I think I know what the inventors of this restuarant were trying to accomplish when they came up with this restaurant idea. The menu is an eclectic mix of New York Favorites mixing thin crusted New York Style Pizzas and Calzones with other Italian favorites as well as Typical New York Jewish Deli items. To that you have to stir in a little bit of local Michigan dishes and that's what they serve at this place. The Pizzas, while not up to most New Yorker's standards, are good and thankfully they are thin crusted and look to be hand tossed. They have come up with soem nice combinations with New York names and include items like clams, shrimp sausages and the like. The deli items are typical too and they also have salads and steaks and other deli kinds of foods. The prices are reasonable and the service is freindly.
