My friend and I went here and it was a bit noisey but a fun atmosphere. The food was terrible though, the crab was so soggy we couldn't break it open well at all not even with a cracker, too soft. The rest of the food was good either. Maybe it was abad day, not sure, but out favorite is Red Lobster in Maplewood, or Bloomington. We have never had a bad meal either place.

My parents and I went to Joe's crab shack and all i got was a tshirt! Oh, and good food too! :) I love to visit places like this when i'm out of town...now there's one in my parents town, and i'm just thrilled! I love it, even though I have a slight allergy to seafood.

Pretty fair, as far as chains go and, considering how expensive the high-end seafood restaurants are (see Oceanaire), Joe's is a decent alternative, especially if children are involved. Atmostphere is generic festive, menu offers lots of choices and preparations, and we've always had a good quality meal here, at good prices, with good service.
