We have dined at the Blue Ridge Grill often as we live in Leesburg and
dine out at least once a week. Tonight, however, I was very dissappointed.
I ordered one of the specials, Surf & Turf, which the waitress said
was $29.00. The lobster was tasteless, although the steak was quite
good, What really got me was the bill. I was charged $34.00, not the $29.00
the waitress had quoted as the price of the special. It was VERY crowded
and VERY hot, and the waitress was VERY busy, in fact had pretty much
disappeared, so my husband elected to just pay the bill, rather than
try to get it straightened out.
It left with a very bad taste in my mouth, with my thought being "buyer
beware" and feeling like I had been taken. I wonder how many ususpecting
diners didn't check the bill that closely and paid more than what
they should have.
I will think twice about dining here again and certainly when asked
for a recommendation, will tell my friends and esepcially o ...

While the other reviewers disagree, I think this is the Top restaurant
in Leesburg. With a great selection of stellar food and wine I will continue
to come back. The decor is very nice and the staff great, I even got to
speak with one of the owners(IMAGINE THAT). If you ever are going to
Leesburg for outlet shopping make sure to stop by the Blue Ridge Grill.
Let's not forget the star-power either, I have seen Joe Gibbs and
when they first opened Steve Spurrier in here during Redskins training
camp.

I love this place! A slightly eclectic assortment of food - the
rare tuna appetizer or dinner is awesome. The steaks are generous
and high-quality. The seafood is cooked to perfection (not dried
up or overdone). The vegetable side dishes are typically fresh,
crisp (like the garlicky broccoli, yum). We usually sit at the
bar for dinner as the wait for a booth can be atrociously long as
the place is packed after the Friday or Saturday dinner-hour
starts. The bar has a ceiling filter for smoke, under which smokers
must sit. I hate smokey places so this is totally great. Yea, you
can go other places further in and get a better experience, but
this is Leesburg and it means its nearby and still great food.
Leesburg has a tough time keeping good restaurants open - this
is an anomaly. Its a casual place but don't be fooled, the
clientele wears high-quality old clothes, and these are folks
that appreciate the quality of food and service.

New comer to Leesburg and a BIG step up from TG's. Decor "sports-man"
like is a bit on dark side. "DS-green" predominates
and if you have to ask, you have never owned a pair of "Wellies".
My first impression was "Red-neck meets Texas".

Service attentive and pleasant. Menu limited but nice selection
of specials with unusual combinations. My prime rib - a good measure
of quality meat - was generous and very good. My wife's fish
was fresh appetizingly presented and very good.

Wine list limited.

Nice selection of deserts. The key lime pie was very good.

Beware, this is quite pricey for the area. Did I get value yes,
not enough to be resentful. But for the money I could have done
better in DC.

The pricing scheme on the menu is a bit over the top, prissy or just
plain annoying, depending on how you feel. Frankly I don ...
