The guy who made this restaurant was on the show Iron Chef, which is one of my favorite Food Network shows, so I knew I was in for something good. Boy, was I right. The restaurant is very visually pleasing. Oddly shaped tables, bright colors. The food is divine. I always get the Chef's Choice, which let's you get a taste of the chef's best work. The prices are little up there, but if you're looking for a food experience, this is it.

It is a place that can be summed up by saying it has a wide selection, a good price, good service, and good food!

Not the quickest service here when we visited, but it was very busy. The food and atmosphere was good however so would recommend it.

Morimoto is the most consistently superior dining experiences in the City of Philadelphia and for my money anywhere else. The restaurant is very pretty and usually full of peopel having a very good time. But it's really all about the food. Do have the omaskase (8-9 course Chef's tasting menu) especially for your first visit. You can have it for $80, $100, or $120. The cost difference is not the amount of food or its quality - any ingredient at this restaurant is of the finest quality. The price point difference has to do with the expense and rarity of the ingredients used - for the 120.00 version expect to see things like lobster, fois gras, kobe beef, caviar, the finest toro etc. Every omaskase includes a sushi and dessert course. Watching your pennies? Go at lunch - 4-6 course omaskases for $30-60. The drinks are great -- so are the beers and sake. Go and have fun.

great restaurant will go there again. I just think that the service need to be quicker. But overall, it was good food, great atmosphere and good service. <br> the price I think is well within my budget but that depens on the individual.

Get the one of the special dinners. It may be a once in a lifetime experience because of the cost. But I plan to come back again after my wallet rests for a bit! lol The most I've pay in a long time. but i think it was well worth it!
